Weeks and months prior to a large event can be stressful and phenomenally hectic. With staffing to sort and promotions to release, it’s important to not forget the most important aspect. The customers. Those who usually fund and help make those events possible. Queries about ticket availability and how to book can come in quick and fast, so it’s important to make sure these customers are happy and satisfied with their experience prior to the event. As they say ‘first impressions count’.
One client which has seen great benefits through those first impressions from using WebTicketManager is Bolesworth Estate. Bolesworth Estate hosts many events throughout the year, those that required online ticketing advanced bookings were Bolesworth Classic and the Edge of Glory Tour.
The Bolesworth Classic is a fabulous family day out centred around Top-Class Show Jumping in the beautiful grounds of Bolesworth Castle. In addition to the World Class sport, the show also offers a wide range of shopping opportunities, craft stalls, children’s entertainment and an extensive timetable of informative and interesting attractions.
Bolesworth Classic does extremely well for family fun as it isn’t too expensive, but offers the chance to experience and watch world class sport at affordable prices! World class, Olympic athletes compete at The Bolesworth Classic on each of the 4 days and the general admission is only £7.50 if you book in advance, for more details please visit their website here.
Bolesworth Classic told us their problems, and we helped provide the perfect solution. One main worry was the time-consumption that their current system had; they wanted to move away from their very basic, time consuming process of handling all ticket enquiries via telephone bookings. So WebTicketManager not only eliminated this complication, but it also created the ability for customers to book at any time and through our affiliate network. Meaning, Bolesworth reached new audiences from Manchester and Liverpool through our Box Office and affiliate network. This was a huge bonus for them as they always wanted to extend their audience but their cost of advertising was prohibited.
Bolesworth Classic has done extremely well this year with ticket sales online. Anna Du Pre, Events Co-ordinator at Bolesworth Estate told us ‘WebTicketManager has saved us a lot of time and money. It has allowed us to increase our productivity by concentrating our time into busy time. Overall, it doesn’t just benefit us, but the customer too, by providing an overall professional booking experience’.
Anna added, ‘In 2012 we sold circa 1200 advance tickets for the show which was an incredible increase from the previous year where we only sold 50 advance tickets.’ They are selling tickets now for Bolesworth Classic 2013, which runs from Thursday 30th May till Sunday 2nd June at Bolesworth Castle. We have 2 day tickets to giveaway, so to be in with a chance of winning, please like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. The winner will be announced via our Facebook and Twitter at the end of December.
