WebTicketManager isn’t just an online ticketing system where you’re tied to using a computer system to manage your tickets. We also provide solutions to allow you to validate your tickets at the gate using mobile technology.
We have a few versions of our validation app and the most recent version is for Smartphones which means any WebTicketManager member can download it from their app store and start validating tickets right away.
The app runs on either iOS or Android and is free to install and use. You just need a WebTicketManager account.
You can also use the app to search for bookings and tickets and perform a myriad of other functions that you may find useful, even down to buying a ticket using the app.
We also have a version of the app that runs on Windows Mobile 7 and makes use of barcode scanning technology and either synchronised ticket data for situations where you may have no mobile signal or online ticket data access when you have a signal.
Using this barcode scanning means that you can quickly check tickets at your attraction or event entrance allowing your customers fast access and helping you to keep queue times to a minimum.
No Signal? No Problem
There are times when you may not have a signal for accessing mobile networks at your visitor entrance.
With this in mind our mobile ticket validation app for Windows Mobile 7 allows you to synchronise with the WebTicketManager system at a time when you have access. This could be a wireless WiFi network connection or a reliable spot where you have mobile network access.
Once you have synchronised the ticket data you can operate without a problem. When you have finished simply re-synchronise with the main WebTicketManager system in the same way as before and all the information is replicated to WebTicketManager.
