Blackpool has it all. A tower, three piers, a beach, family attractions, world-famous events, a theme park, open green spaces, top restaurant and bars – and the best bit? It’s the best destination for staycation if you are on a budget.
The resort is officially the most affordable place for a UK break, according to holidaymakers and tourists themselves. The seaside town was scored for its economical transport, dining options and accommodation among other factors in a survey completed by more than 2,000 visitors.
With regards to Blackpool specifically, 36% of people said it offers the best value accommodation, 25% stated the Fylde coast town offers affordable dining options and finally, 21% believe it offers the most budget-friendly attractions. When comparing bookings to Blackpool with those made prior to the pandemic in 2019, there has been an impressive 73% increase.
