Lancashire attraction adapts its offering for Christmas cheer.
One example of a UK visitor attraction adapting its offering for Christmas cheer is Lancashire’s Colne Valley Railway.
This award winning period country railway runs on a pretty line, almost a mile long, with relocated station buildings, signal boxes and bridges all lovingly restored and rebuilt. There is also a large and varied collection of vintage steam and diesel engines, carriages and wagons that represent much of our railway heritage.
The team at CVR have worked hard to restore this popular family day out following the pandemic. Visitors will meet Santa in his grotto before travelling on their diesel train to collect a present from Santa’s Toy Shop.
For children old and young this is an exciting way to celebrate the festive season and support an important UK heritage attraction.

We love questions and especially talking more about ticketing within the event and tourism attraction space. We like to think we are approachable, knowledgeable and certainly the “nice people of ticketing” as we have so much industry empathy and experience.
So, feel free to get in touch for a chat or even a free, no obligation demonstration.
